Last night I met the Thomas family at the Carlyle House in downtown Alexandria for their annual family portraits! You may recognize them from a session I did a few weeks ago, but this time we had a whole hour to dedicate to just their family. I loved getting to see them again! It felt like hanging out with my friends for an hour. And these are some of my incredibly adorable, easy to photograph friends!
Mike and Elizabeth recently celebrated their second anniversary. They welcomed their first baby girl, Blake, last December..three weeks before they were expecting to! I think God knew that the world needed Blake in it as soon as possible 😜 Obviously I am a little bias toward baby girls born in December, making this such a fun session for me. It’s like getting to see a year into my future! I am already looking forward to getting the Thomas family back in front of my camera again next year. They are such a welcoming couple who made me feel like we had always known one another. Plus, Elizabeth started a wedding planning business with her sister (brides check them out!), so of course she styled her family perfectly for their session.
