Eric and Erica’s love story started three years ago with a game of chess. Erica didn’t know how to play and in true rom-com fashion, their first date consisted of Eric teaching her. They have been together ever since! And for the last three years the tables turned and Erica has taught Eric a lot…mostly what it’s like to be part of a large, tight-knit family. Eric comes from a smaller family in the Midwest, but that didn’t stop Erica from throwing him straight into the mix of her big family parties. She knew Eric was a keeper when he could hold his own with her clan! I think spending over four years in the Navy probably helps him keep his cool. Whatever it was, she was impressed and now that crazy family is about to be his family too!
These two bring out the absolute best in one another. Within seconds of arriving at their engagement session with me last night, they were giggling up a storm and stealing kisses. I barely had to pose them because once they looked at each other, they couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear! They started out a little nervous to be in front of the camera (like many couples), but were complete models by the end of the session. Our hour together flew by because it felt like three old friends hanging out. I am already counting down the days until their wedding next spring so I can photograph them again. Those giggles are just too adorable!
