Erin + Josh | A Destination Winter Wedding at Tresca on 8th in Lynchburg

There are times in life in which you are startled by how genuinely kind people are. The type of kind that could change the world if everyone was like them. People so full of love that you just can’t help but smile around them.

That’s Erin and Josh. Or should I say Mr. and Mrs. Brown?? Being invited to share in the celebration of these two genuine individuals coming together to become one was an honor. Definitely worth my first blog post of the decade! Their day was full of laughter, goofiness, and Christ’s love for the church. They joined as husband and wife at Tresca on 8th in Lynchburg on Saturday. It was the perfect way to kick off the 2020 wedding season!

Erin is a timeless beauty and Josh is a classic gentleman. I loved seeing Erin’s personality come to life in little ways throughout the day because she is so cute and elegant, with a little sparkle 😛 From her bridesmaids’ dresses to her reception crown, Erin added in the perfect amount and fun and bling all day long! And Josh wore a green suit…that says it all! His ring was one of the coolest rings ever because it is made out of an old whiskey barrel and coffee grounds. What?! SO cool! I want to be like Josh and Erin when I grow up! Both of them are grounded in Christ with a love for life. This was one of those days that had me shooting through tears for large portions of it.

Erin and Josh have trusted me through a lot: from a rainy engagement session to a rainy wedding day! We did an intimate first look followed by some gorgeous bride and groom portraits. Then they had me laughing and crying all at the same time during their ceremony. After family photos and their wedding party, I stole them away for some husband and wife portraits! So far, my favorite images of the year have been taken in a parking lot 😛 They danced the night away alongside their friends and it was one of my favorite receptions of all time!

I look forward to see them grown closer to one another as they lean into the Lord during their marriage. Their families and friends will be such a wonderful encouragement as they start their marriage! What a way to start the year!

Have fun in Hawaii you two!
