After having to reschedule due to weather a few weeks ago, I finally got to meet up with Josh and Erin for their engagement session in the Blue Ridge Mountains! They live in Lynchburg, VA so I made the trip out to give them the engagement session of their (and my!) dreams. And let me tell y’all…it did not disappoint. Erin’s small group leader from church let us use their gorgeous backyard as our canvas and the minute I pulled up I got goosebumps from excitement. This backyard had almost everything I could ever want in a location! A swing, a fence, gorgeous rolling hills, and mountain views!
Erin and Josh met through church and started dating shortly after. They radiate cuteness y’all! From the minute they got in front of my camera, their personalities and love for one another took over. I barely had to pose them because they are such naturals! And when a little rain spell came, they were so flexible and rolled with it. Plus, y’all know that umbrella pics are kind of my favorite type of pic 🙂
I cannot wait for their wedding in January! I am sure their families are every bit as sweet as them (they had to get it from somewhere, right??) and I know Josh will be tearing it up on the dance floor! These two are going to love one another with the sacrificial love of Jesus until the day they die and I get to be there to help them remember it! This ‘job’ is seriously awesome.
Time for all the sneaks! I cannot get over how perfect the lighting and location was last night. This session was always meant to be in Southwest VA!
