Yesterday morning I got up early and met my dear friend Marion at UMD for her graduation session. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, but sunrise sessions are my FAV! And yesterday morning just kept proving it. Marion and I are actually friends from college which made this even more special. We lived on the same floor freshman year at UMD and we were the only two rooms on our hall with freshmen so we had to be friends. And now here we are five years later and she’s graduating and changing the world!
Marion is a Dietetics major, and after she graduates, she will be moving to DC to start her residency with Virginia Tech’s DC and Northern Virginia campus. She will be in a hospital working as a clinical dietician and while I am not smart enough to know exactly what that means, she is! And that’s all that matters because she’ll be the one doing it 😀
I cannot tell y’all enough what a special spot in my heart these kinds of sessions have. And I am so thankful for people like Marion that trust me when I recommend doing their grad session on a morning in April! There is just such pretty light and not a single person in the background. I think if you ask Marion, she’d say the same thing 😛 I mean, just look at the kind of  beauty we can create when the sun’s coming up! Congrats on your graduation in just 23 days girl!
