They’ve waited a long time for this day…and on Friday it finally happened! Britney and Drew’s June 2020 wedding didn’t quite happen, but they did get married last September in his mom’s backyard because they didn’t want to wait (and I don’t blame them). You may remember their gorgeous backyard wedding from the blog almost a year ago! However, watching them recommit to one another in front of all their family and friends made everything feel complete. Even though they’ve been married almost a year, this celebration made it feel so much more real!
Britney’s eye for detail and the thought she put into each aspect of the day was clear. In the midst of planning and replanning and starting a new school year (she’s a preschool teacher), I can’t believe she created this gorgeous day for all their friends to enjoy. Drew brings out the absolute best in Britney and seeing him be her rock and safe place is inspiring. He is such a genuinely nice guy who makes everyone feel comfortable and happy. I could not be happier for these two and am anxiously looking forward to their future as Mr. and Mrs. Tomlin!
