Dan + Emily | A Southern Maryland Wedding at Hawthorne Country Club

They are #FEINALLY married! Hawthorne Country Club in La Plata was the perfect place for Dan and Emily to celebrate their marriage with all their friends and family. Emily and Dan are two of the world’s kindest, most genuine people and now they are the husband and wife! Woot woot!

I need to start this post by saying a massive thank you to both of their families for inviting me into their day. It’s not surprising to me that their parents are so welcoming because the apples didn’t fall far from the tree. If you need proof that Dan and Emily are some of the sweetest people alive, check out their wedding party. It takes special people to have eleven friends who want to stand up next to them on their wedding day. ELEVEN! Normally large wedding parties can be a little tougher to keep on timeline throughout the day, but this group was attentive and easy going all day. I loved getting to feel like the 23rd member of the wedding party!

Emily is the laugher to Dan’s smolder. He is calm and steady while she is energetic and bubbly. They bring out the best in one another and the people around them. I cannot wait to watch them grow closer as they live life as one now and see how they impact the world. Through dating and engagement and a postponed wedding, they are resilient and gentle.
