Since traveling to France wasn’t possible this summer due to COVID, we decided to bring France to Maryland with this Parisian inspired wedding at the Liriodendron Mansion! If you know me, you know this wedding has all my favorite elements of a wedding day: fluffy peonies, shades of dusty blue, a giggling couple, and a flowing cathedral veil. That is all I ask for people!! There are quite a few other components of this day that make my heart happy, like the stunning Mikaella gown that hugs Shelby’s body perfectly, the perfectly elegant floral installment on the mantle, and the swoon worthy Jimmy Choos. Honestly, I could go on and on, but I would rather you see all the prettiness than read about it!
The inspiration for this styled wedding came from a Parisian garden. We wanted to bring a perfect combination of romantic and whimsical right to our backyard. The Liriodendron Mansion provided a chateau-esque venue while Karla from Petalos DC brought our French floral dreams to life. I could not be more proud of this vendor team! And the best part? We did it all with rain showers happening throughout the day!
