What an honor it was to photograph Kelly and Jaryn’s intimate wedding on Saturday at Grace Community Church in Howard County. It was a day completely centered on the Lord, which is the perfect way to start a marriage! Their original plans for this day looked a little different, but these two (and their families) are resilient. They planned a completely different wedding (in a short amount of time), had to make the tough decisions that come with having a smaller wedding, and took advantage of all the perks of a more intimate day! But don’t worry, this isn’t the last you’ll see of these two. They are still having a big reception next year for their one year anniversary!
This was a special wedding for me because it happened at my church. And Kelly’s family are some of our friends! Kelly and Jaryn met their freshman year of college and now four years later, they are heading off to Pennsylvania to start teaching jobs as husband and wife. They both had been waiting for this day for quite some time and the sheer joy on their faces as they became one was infectious. Their dreams came true! I wish them both a lifelong marriage grounded in Christ and filled with as much happiness as I saw on Saturday. Thank you to both of their sweet families for inviting me to be part of this intimate day!
