It. Has. Been. A. Week. And it’s not over yet! But I know I love my job because the more I work, the more energy I have. Usually during a session I can feel the magic being made and have to resist the urge to speed home to look at the images, but that feeling was multiplied tenfold after Karen’s session last night!!! I honestly cannot stop looking at how beautiful she is! And this girl has some brains because she is graduating from nursing school this summer. The world needs more nurses, especially ones like her who want to care for high needs, ICU patients. She gifted herself this grad session to remember her hard work and celebrate accomplishing this huge milestone. I love getting to help people celebrate, relax, and feel beautiful! The entire session I kept telling Karen that she should be a model or Instagram influencer because she was a natural in front of the lens. Keep on scrolling and you’ll see what I mean…
If you’ve seen any of my birthday or really any big announcement posts, you know I am a sucker for some balloons. I think balloons are some of the happiest decorations out there. They can be elegant and goofy at the same time. Plus, they scream celebration. When Karen told me she wanted to include balloons in her session, I couldn’t say “DO ITTTT” fast enough! She completely trusted me the whole time and even did all the prep work beforehand by reading and following my style guide (hello lashes!!!). It made the session a lot easier, and resulted in her having these stunning images! I can’t tell you how happy it made me to see her so excited for this session. In the midst of finals and a funky end to her degree due to covid, I had a whole hour to pamper and serve this queen. I am proud to call this girl my friend and even prouder to introduce Karen Cornejo, RN.
