Today was my sweet friend’s baby shower!!!
Lauren and David are expecting their first child, a baby boy, on September 2nd and today all her friends and family got to shower her with love (and so many presents!). It was one of the cutest showers I’ve ever been to and it’s not surprising because Lauren’s mom is in the wedding business with me! She is an incredibly talented florist. Lauren’s in-laws prepared so much delicious food for everyone, making this brunch shower both gorgeous and delicious!
The shower was held in a 100 year old schoolhouse right here in Columbia and it was the perfect place to celebrate the arrival of a little boy. Lauren and David wanted to kill two birds with one stone, so we did some maternity photos right outside before the shower! They both braved the extreme heat to get these adorable pictures of them as they expect baby Elijah David. I have never had a more giggly couple in front of my lens!! SO CUTE.
I cannot wait to meet their son in the next 6ish weeks, and I know all these grandmas and great grandmas to be feel the same way! This kid is already so loved and spoiled. Something tells me, it will only continue from here 😛
