Kimmie + Bradley | A Sunrise Engagement at Lake Elkhorn

Yesterday morning I met up with Kimmie and Bradley for their engagement session at Lake Elkhorn. These two woke up before the crack of dawn and ventured to one of my favorite places to have sessions. Anndddd turns out that Lake Elkhorn is a very special place to them! Bradley used to live close by and they have taken countless walks around this lake together. I love it when there is a personal connection to where you get your engagement pictures taken!

Kimmie and Bradley have one of the coolest stories ever! They met at a football game at the University of Maryland. Sounds normal, right? WRONG. Kimmie was a sophomore at the time and she just happened to sit next to this guy named Bradley. Bradley wasn’t a student and he somehow got into the student section for the game (I think there was a friend of a friend who was a student) and he just happened to sit next to his future wife!! They hit it off and have been together ever since. Fun twist #2? Bradley is from Northern Ireland and is literally her European prince. They are having a one year anniversary reception in a castle in Northern Ireland next year to celebrate with his friends and family who may not be able to make it to their wedding next spring! Basically, Kimmie is a real life princess and I’m jealous. Plus, they just got a super cute puppy only 2 days ago who joined us at their session!

These two tie the knot exactly one year and one day from today! I can already tell it’s going to be a beautiful day. These two are so adorable together and I could not be happier for them. After seeing how perfectly Kimmie styled their engagement session, I know that their wedding will be 80x more beautiful! Can next June hurry up and get here please???
