Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Land!
Caroline and Micah became husband and wife on Sunday at Belmont Country Club in Ashburn, Virginia. Each part of their day was intentionally planned out and thoughtfully designed to be fun, a representation of who they are as a couple, and a demonstration of their faith. The outward elegant garden party inspired details from Caroline’s vision board came to life perfectly and walking into their reception really felt like I entered Taylor Swift’s Love Story music video – it was the epitome of romantic!
More importantly, Caroline and Micah prepared their hearts for marriage and surrounded themselves with loved ones who encourage and support them. Christ was at the center of each part of the day from getting ready to the toasts at their reception. They shared a very sweet, intimate first touch where they exchanged gifts, vows, and prayed for their marriage. Their ceremony was pushed up due to a forecast of rain but luckily it held off long enough for them to have their dream ‘I do’ on the front lawn!
We were able to squeeze a few portraits with their family and wedding party in before the downpour led to the wedding party racing through the Manor House to avoid the storms. It felt like something out of a movie! A lot of the images you’ll see in this post were taken under one covering at the venue – proof that if you hire a photographer you trust, you can get gorgeous photos no matter the weather! A big thank you to Caroline, Micah, and their families for allowing me to be part of this day with you and for trusting me when the weather wasn’t exactly what we were hoping for ☺️

Marie, thank you for such amazing photographs! As Mother of The Bride, I couldn’t be everywhere I wanted to be at the wedding… you have captured all of these moments in timeless beauty in your work. We are forever grateful!
