Jamie and Emily are officially husband and wife!! Friday afternoon these two tied the knot surrounded by all their family and friends at Glen Ellen Farm at one of the most fun weddings I’ve been to this year. These two are the perfect match for one another and Friday displayed that perfectly. Jamie is a wild card who keeps Emily laughing and on her toes, but he also is loyal, steady, and the perfect man for her. Multiple people mentioned Emily’s ‘quiet strength’ throughout the festivities because she is independent and confident. I know these two have a long and happy marriage ahead of them!
It was a privilege to watch them commit to a lifetime of learning how to unconditionally love one another and model Christ’s relationship with the church in how they love one another. I would be lying if I said that I didn’t shed a few tears! From Jamie’s reaction when Emily walked down the aisle (let this be an example of how doing a First Look doesn’t ruin the ‘aisle moment’) to when he shared a dance with five different mother figures in his life – the emotions were running high. Jamie and Emily still partied it up with all their guests all night long and I had a blast getting to be a small part of it. Thank you so much to both of their families and all their friends for welcoming me into the celebration!
