Every single time my alarm goes off for a sunrise session in our nation’s capital, I know it is going to be worth the early wake up call. I always capture some of my favorite images from each year in DC! Thursday’s session with Alec and Katie was no exception.
I was extra excited for this session because Alec and Katie are also photographers! It is always a huge honor when fellow photographers choose me to photograph them because I know how picky we can be! Katie and Alec are insanely talented wedding photographers based in Alabama who stopped in DC on their way up to a wedding in Rhode Island today. Since they know the value of good photos, they wanted to make sure to document this trip the right way!
They are some of the nicest people ever and I know all their couples are so lucky to have them photograph their wedding days! You can’t help but smile and feel comfortable around these two. We were instantly friends! I am happy to have met them and sincerely hope our paths cross again.
